[Written in 2009] Skylar was born with wings, which was a plus, until she was kidnapped by Christopher, a scientist with plans to create a new species. He took her from her friends what family she had, copied her DNA, erased her memory all to make his experiment successful. Once Skylar awakes she manages to escape with a few others. Now she's on a mission to collect all the Haldrins she can get to take down the government and finally live in peace again.

I felt tingly as he rubbed his hands along my hips to adjust me to the right posture. “Now click the safety,” as I did this the blood was pumping and I was super excited. I was about to shoot a gun for the first time. “Whenever you’re ready” he spoke still standing behind me. I aimed at the target and shot. One…two…three…four It was exhilarating, better than anything I had ever done before. The feeling of the backfire and ricochet off of the target. It was like I could handle anything that was thrown at my way. I would defiantly have to have him teach me how to do more."
