On a routine mission to Earth to pick up new recruits, Bones and Spock, along with the rest of the Enterprise crew are stunned when one of the newest members is Kirk's younger sister Alexandria Kirk.

15 year old Jim lives in a farmhouse just outside of Riverside Iowa with his abusive stepfather Frank. 16 year old Spock moves in next door along with his parents. Frank hates Vulcans and Gays alike. And Spock is betrothed to T'Pring. His family expects them to bond, even though she can't stand him. Even with all of that, Jim and Spock fall for each other before discovering that they are T'hy'la.

Spock's eight and it is his time to be betrothed, but his mind refuses to be bonded as he already has a T'hy'la. Light years away, Jim Kirk suffers from chronic headaches. Only time can bring them together, but not much time is left. ~ (Title translates: I sense the consciousness calling to you from space...)

You have always had feelings for your commander and friend. But you've never done anything about it for 2 reasons. One, he's your commander/ superior. And two, you knew he didn't feel the same way about you especially since everyone knew that he was with Uhura But what happens when you find out that what you think you know isn't entirely the truth.
