A moment of carelessness on Jim's part has him barging in while Spock is lighting his mother's menorah--sentiment, perhaps, but Spock has so little left of her that it feels only right to continue with the Grayson family traditions. Jim watches and, finally, decides to gift Spock with something to add to the Hanukkah traditions.

Spock recognizes feels and symptoms he is having to be blamed upon James T. Kirk, his Captain. This story was inspired by "Never Be The Same" by Camila Cabello. I do not own any of this art and credit it to its original owner, which I couldn't find. No copyright tho... DISCLAIMER: BOY X BOY

Red strings of fate connect all of humanity. each person has a string only they can see, connecting them to their soulmate. However, only humans can see their strings. So, if your soulmate is not a human, then they can not see the string. Jim's soulmate is Spock. Who despite being half human, can not see the string. Jim is not surprised. After all, he learned one lesson years ago. A lesson beat into him over and over during his childhood. Good things don't happen to him. And nobody could ever love him.

Unexpected things happen to Kirk and Spock on the enterprise, in shots. Hope you enjoy! Live long and Prosper. It can be read in either TOS or AOS, Own the plots not the characters.

This story takes place after the reboot series. Spock is suffering from PTSD; after witnessing the death of his poor mother, Kirk's and Pike's. His T'hy'la James T Kirk will stop at nothing to help and comfort him. This story takes place in AOS but the date is not long after Beyond, so it takes place around 2263-2264. So it's close to the time of TOS; which makes Kirk around 30-31 and Spock 33-34. I do not own Star Trek I'm not Gene Roddenberry or JJ Abrams. Art/images are from online like deviantart. Aka, "You Never Let Me Drive" on my FanFiction.Net account. This is technically the first fanfic I've ever written (over three years old, yikes) it's about fem!Spock/Jim and fem!Chekov/Sulu, Spock and Chekov are police officers, Sulu and Bones are car salesmen, Scotty's the mechanic (naturally), and Jim just test drives the cars. This is very unfinished and pretty awful, but maybe someone will get inspired for more fem!spock and chekov.

Kirk has trouble sleeping, so decides to enjoy some time on the bridge watching a nebula bloom. Spock joins him.

Jim Kirk gets shot by an automated weapon while on an away misson. Instead of injuring or killing him, it deages him. Now Spock and McCoy have to try and fix it, all while caring for 4 year old Jim. This is made harder by the fact that he is terrified of everyone but Spock. The more they watch and listen, the more Spock and McCoy want to find Winona Kirk and make her just as afraid as she has made her son. There is a brief nudity scene in the last chapter. All characters involved in said scene are adults. There are some sexual terms used. However, I do not believe it is enough to change the rating to mature.
