To Yuki, volleyball has been her passion since she was a toddler, playing ever since in her school team. However, she hits a wall when an injury in her shoulder sends her to the hospital. Years later, after her recovery, she transfers schools because of her father's job. Excited to finally return to playing she finds out that there is no longer a female volleyball team at Karasuno High School, making her sink in despair.
