A peaceful dream is interrupted by a distinct tapping on my bedroom window. It is nearly October, so it could be anything out there. Fall is my favorite season, so this is just a short story in regards to my love of this special time of year.

Just a snippet of a short horror story that I wrote and kind of just wanted to put into the world

Green wakes up on a morning thinking all was going to be normal, until she finds the world she once remembers is ruined. There are beastly creatures, ruined citys, and new freinds to make when she goes on an adventure.

The world has been twisted into a nightmarish reality. Death is imminent, leering closer. A howling wind whistles eerily, echoing. The sun has faded into a colourless grey, no longer the brilliant orb that should chase off the darkness. It has faded out, leaving you for dead. Moonlight spills from the sky. Shadows lunge. The streets are drenched in darkness, cloaked with fear. In a blink, your light can be extinguished. They can't see you, but they can feel your panicked heartbeats... Which cease when they are stolen. * Raina will never forget the moment her life became a wretched reality. The moment her parents were pitched into the void. She will never forget the tears shed as she and Ella realized that they were alone in this horrid place. Nor will she forget the piercing pain of the lightning bolt, the scars that curve along her skin. They give her the Light.
