Spooky Month would never again be the same for Skid and Pump. Ever. Normally it's a time of celebration. Spooks. Candy. Trick-or-treating. Mischief. But not anymore. A mysterious infection is spreading through Skid and Pump's hometown, and it's already affecting their family and friends, forcing them against them, and out of the town to seek shelter. The infection was also spreading to bad people, turning them worse than ever before. From bullies to monsters, Skid and Pump's struggle for survival forces them to learn that there truly are more scares than spooks in this world, and no matter what kind of mask you wear, the infection is impossible to control. As Skid and Pump are thrown into the most horrifying adventure of their lives, will they escape alive? Or will they die gruesomely trying? Updates will be occasional, and the storyline may be altered.

Every day, he's picked on by the world. Everyone calls him horrible names. He can't control the fact he looks like that. But people force him to. They force him to eat more. He has anorexia. They try to hurt him. He's fragile. They tell him to kill himself. He wants to, but if he does so, he'll leave behind his only friend; a puppet named Pump. People call him a Pumpet and try to take him away. Tear him apart. Burn him. Shred him. Anything to make Skid's life not worth living. These are the things making Skid feel like Pump truly is his only friend. An inanimate object being his only source of comfort and safety. Without him, he's hopeless. Pump is a security blanket to Skid, but people want to cut him open and mutilate him into one. Pump is Skid's best friend, but people want Skid to have no friends. Pump is everything to Skid, but to the world... Skid is a monster. But suddenly, things only get worse when an infection spreads, and an apocalypse happens, and soon enough it truly does feel like everyone hates Skid. The struggle for friendship and safety gets harder as Skid fights for his life from monstrosities more horrifying than himself. Yet with just a lifeless puppet as his only companion, Skid's life is about to suck even more.
