Author's Note Hi everyone! 👋 Welcome to Beyond the Court. This is actually the first story I've ever written, so I'm both excited and nervous to share it with all of you. The inspiration for this story came from my love for Haikyuu!!. After watching the anime and reading the manga, I completely fell in love with the characters, the teamwork, the emotions, and the way volleyball was portrayed. Like many fans, I started looking for fanfictions that focused on an original character and a fresh storyline. While I found a few, none of them matched the kind of story I wanted to read. So I thought... "Why not write the story I wish existed?" That's how Beyond the Court was born. Although this story is inspired by the emotional journey and excitement that sports manga can create, all of the characters, schools, teams, and events in this story are completely original. This is not a Haikyuu!! fanfiction, but rather my own original volleyball story created with the same love for sports, teamwork, and personal growth. Since this is my first time writing, I'm still learning as I go - so please bear with me if updates take a little time or if my writing isn't perfect. I'm pouring a lot of heart into this story, and I truly hope it makes you feel something, whether it's excitement during the matches or quiet emotion during Rin's journey. A lot of girls try out and Airi starts to question if she'll get in but by some miracle she gets in along with the three classmates she met and every practice is unique from the previous one and things get crazy especially since the girl's team's coach has been rivals with the boys' tennis team coach since junior high and Airi finds out that her newfound enemy was on the boys' team and Airi knew that this will be hell but it may be worth it. Who knows?
