Amadi and Aturu Eejima are the twin captains of Adamantine Spear, Nigeria's wildest and most chaotic secondary school football club. After a somewhat promising end to last season, the twins are now aiming to win the Football Frontier Nigeria, a dream passed down to them by their former captain, Toyosi Akinwunmi. The only things standing in their way are the four powerhouse schools, which are home to the strongest teams in the country. Among these are the champions of Africa, The Jesuits of Saint Loyola's Academy. Amadi and Aturu are ready to take on the challenge but while navigating the complexities of teenage life as well as coming to their own as leaders, it soon becomes clear to them and many others that Toyosi casts a very long shadow.
