This is my entry for the #wonderthemovie challenge, but even after it's judged I'm going to keep it up, hoping maybe it will inspire someone to spread kindness. When I was faced with the challenge of writing about a time when kindness prevailed in just 500 words, I thought it was going to be simple. I thought it was something I could whip up in a few hours. Oh, how wrong I was. Capturing the power of kindness isn't something that can be done, period, so trying to do it in a few hours is impossible. I wrote so many pros of what kindness means, but nothing satisfied me. So then I realized maybe it isn't what kindness means that should be written about, but maybe it's was kindness can do. So I decided to just tell a story of kindness, instead of trying to define it. I told a story that I hope will inspire others to spread kindness around. In my life, I have been blessed to be surrounded by such kind people. But not everyone receives that chance and it's our job to give that chance to those who don't have it. It takes only five seconds of kindness to change a life. This story is under 500 words and is inspired on a true event :)

All of last year, I was criticized/bullied at my school, along with dealing with the death of my father, and this story shows how I overcame that. It's very true, and nothing about this story is fake except that my real name isn't Scarlett Tomlinson. Just my entry for the #MindOverMatter. This story is copyrighted, so please don't steal any part of it. Thank you. To the judges: please read the part 'Author's Note' before the story. To everyone: I hope you beautiful people like the story, and thank you for reading it!

Discover the True Power of Connection: It's More Than Just "Nice." In a world brimming with agreeable pleasantries and surface-level interactions, what if the very language we use is subtly hindering our ability to forge genuine, meaningful connections? "The Courage of Kindness: Beyond Niceness" invites you on an illuminating journey to unpack one of society's most common linguistic conflations: the interchangeable use of "nice" and "kind." Often, we say "nice" when our hearts truly yearn for "kindness." But what's the difference? And why does it matter? Through a sophisticated yet easy-tounderstand exploration, this book delves into the surprising history of "nice," revealing how a word once signifying folly came to define our social decorum. We'll uncover the subtle ways "niceness" can mask ulterior motives, serve as a social performance, and even become a tool for manipulation, often leaving us feeling hollow and disconnected. More profoundly, "The Courage of Kindness" illuminates the authentic, often challenging, path of genuine kindness. Discover why true kindness demands integrity, compassion, and courage-attributes that can feel scarce in a world that often rewards superficiality. We'll explore the profound benefits of living kindly for both the giver and receiver, and acknowledge the unique challenges and occasional isolation faced by those who choose this deeper path. This book is a poignant guide for anyone seeking to cultivate more authentic relationships, understand the subtleties of human behavior, and unlock the transformative power of genuine compassion. It's a call to move beyond the easy agreeableness of "niceness" and embrace the profound, often courageous, strength of true kindness.

"Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives." -Unknown We are Soul Healers, a group devoted to nurturing and healing others. Within this book, we'll explain our vision and how we can heal. We'll explain how anyone can be a member of Soul Healers and how we can all mend over time. "Healing takes time. It is one of the most hardest thing to accept. When it hurts, we want to the pain to go away. Pain blinds, bringing darkness and it hurts. It hurts a lot. And the main reason we are here, is to reach out and try and make you realize, that we understand." -Soul Healers We can help you with whatever you are going through; we can't make all the pain go away but we can be there for you. This is a safe space free from judgment. This is a place to grow and heal. If you have an idea or any suggestions for what we can do to help or just in general, you can pop it in our Idea Box within this book. All suggestions and ideas are appreciated! <3 (Note: We would appreciate it if some views are kept personal and that this book is not used as a platform for bullying and judgment. Any hate comments will be removed.)

I wrote this story to inspire someone. This book will help you change your negatives into positives. I fought almost two decades of my life away. I made this book not only to educate the young folks, but telling people with autism it's okay to over come adversity. The story is based on my life and it's an inspirational story to be honest. It will make you laugh, cry, maybe have mixed emotions too. If you know someone who has autism or not, pass the book on. It will brighten their day. After they're done reading, hug that person. You can make a difference by making someone else's day. As the old saying goes, it's good to spread a little kindness to someone.
