Hello there! This is a short story I made using the prompt: A boy working up the courage to ask a long-term crush to dance with him at the school dance. A 16 year old boy called Chris is working up the courage to ask his 9-year crush to the Spring Fling. Erin is a 17 year old girl in the same year as Chris and she has no idea what is coming. Will they fall in love? Probably, this is a fictional story. This is my first time writing a story so it is bound to be bad, but please, be respectful. I am open to feedback and corrections, but no mean comments. This is a clean story, but there is a use of swear words so keep that in mind as you read. I am also NOT American so I will be using the British spelling of words. But this story is slightly based in an American school.
