Irdath, a seventeen year old Arvepian, keeps to himself most of the time. A reserved yet opiniated young man, there's just one single thing he can't contain in his mind: his wish for peace in times of devastating war. A war between his own kind, the Arvepians, versus the Sanguines, a species bad mouthed in his town. But after he meets one of the aristocrat Sanguines, Ezirar, and falls for him, Irdath is then caught in a revolt against the royals leading the conflict. Most important of all, he becomes the leader of said revolution, without having a clue about what it means to lead an army. As memories from the past tug at his mind, will Irdath be able to overcome his fears and deliver peace to his land? Will he win Ezirar's heart?
