In 5000 BC, twelve Eternals - Ajak, Sersi, Ikaris, Kingo, Sprite, Phastos, Gilgamesh, Thena, Makkari, Druig, Nerak, and Cybele - were sent to earth to exterminate the invasive species called the Deviants.
