It has been centuries since July died and no one has heard from the Elementals in ages. It is said that the Time and Space Elemental still exists, but few believe it. No one remembers how July died and life without the portals has become the norm. Until two girls appear through the portals changing everything in the Forest of Eternity, where nothing ever changes. Sillyn and Athena have been ripped away from their family by a brutal war. When they suddenly find themselves in a strange forest with odd people and talking trees they don't know how to react. Diamond is among the few female redwood trees, and is continuously mocked for it. She is a couple millennia old and still a child in the eyes of her people. When she meets two strange girls, she realizes that being different can be a good thing. Mareythu (sounding like: Mary-ee-thew) is the youngest leader of the Black Krongs, the only beings who can still travel between worlds due to their special magic. He has been friends with the trees in the Forest of Eternity for a long time, and when one suddenly cashes in on a favor his life turns upside down. Maybe not everything is what he thought it was. This is my first story, so it is probably going to be horrible. Updates will be slow as I have school as well.

This is their story.

Several original myths

Incubator-Jones's writing creates an alternative past, a prequel so to speak, to the well known Judaic based Genesis myth. But, that doesn't do it justice. Because as you read each subsequent chapter, you feel like you're falling down a philosophical worm hole that is so unique in the" typical" Tolkien based Fantasy genre that has dominated the market for years. It's refreshing to me as a reader, because Incubator-Jones makes you re-think plausibilities in his heretical un-cannon like approach to his subject. But, what really drives this book is the fact that so many of the main characters are so compelling, and most importantly, relatable.

Aguatin is a fire sprite, born to two water sprite parents and discriminated against because of being a fire sprite. Genevieve is a kind, smart, funny, and kind of awkward water sprite who befriends Aguatin. Terra is a foreign earth sprite exchange student. Rae and Shadow are a light and a shadow sprite, who were kicked out from their villages because they were dating a girl and the opposite type of sprite. Tes is a electricity sprite and a trans girl who is trying to transition by doing the test of womanhood, which other girl who had begun training for at 3 years old, so she can ask the spirit of Sakura Mountain to make her mind and body match up. The six of them meet and befriend each other just in time for the craziest adventure of their lives, a quest to help save their world.

This book is about Lilliana Lane who gets trapped in awkward situations with Calvin Jake the lead cop on the investigation who was framed with Lilliana for her best friend's murder. So they hide out and chase the murderer to clear their name but there's only one problem Calvin is hot with a great personality and every day she falls for him even more. Why does he make her feel things that were not part of the deal when they set off to clear their names. She better clear her head soon or he will destroy her and himself. Calvin hides his dark secret from Lilliana who gets stuck in situations that there is no choice but to reveal himself and why does she have to be so full of light, funny, and hot as hell, falling in love was not what he expected, he knows letting anyone in like he did last time would be any sort of mistake. One slip up brings joy and destruction but if he lets the love of the great and powerful joy and light known as Lilliana he knows their lives could end up being both their destructions.
