Sam never wanted any part of that life. Even as a little kid, he and John butted heads over their mission. A mission of vengeance for the death of a parent he never had the chance to meet. His mother. Then, there was Abigail. She came into their lives rather late. Hell, she came into their lives late enough that any one of them could have been her father. But the clincher was the call that came with her.
