I thought I knew you. I thought you meant it when you sang in my ear all along how much you love me. I believed you were an honorable man. How could you? How could you do this to me? I cannot believe this is happening after all the efforts we have put in together. You are heartless. You are wicked. It's over. Go ahead and marry her. You deserve each other-two ingrate. My best friend's wedding became a disaster when the groom cheated with the bridesmaid on the wedding day.

A heartbroken lover comes home after her beloved breaks up with her. She's devastated, and wonders what she's done to make him leave her. Soon, she realises she's broken a promise she made to him. It's a promise that she'll need to fulfill if she wants to win him back...

"The Art of Tragedy" is a collection of poems, mostly free verses, without a consistent meter, or a rhyme scheme. In ancient Greece, tragedy is a story where it doesn't end well for the protagonist.

A collection of my poetry. The sonnets are from when I was young and fresh in the world still. And sappy. Thus they are utter shit tbh, but give it a read nonetheless...
