Very often and sometimes a bit too many times for his taste, Gwaine found himself in very unique situations when near to Merlin. The smell of blood and dirt smothered his senses, and Gwaine couldn't get up the energy to remove himself from this situation. Expect divergence from the canonical plot, including and not limited to Lancelot being alive because I wrote this strangely without watching Merlin for a while and did not think the actual death of Lancelot was as early as it was.
