He came to Inkopolis to earn money in Turf Wars. What he got was arriving to a city in crisis, a missing celebrity, and the greatest adventure of his life. This is the story of Agent 4: the Kid from Tempura County.

After returning to Inkopolis from a long trip, (y/n) was excited to see her best friend again. Little did she know that her friend had become an agent in some secret society of heroes, and upon finding out her friend's secret, (y/n)'s life takes quite the turn. Splatoon belongs to Nintendo.

You were supposed to just be the average inkling, Y/n L/n, known by many as the secretive, small-time singer Seaside, known best for his hidden identity and performances by the street, in garages, bars, wherever one could stop to listen and give money. Those days came, and before you could learn to appreciate them, they were gone, just like you were that fateful day you woke up away from home, just like the day you were banished to the oceans and the dangers of the planet 4546B, and just like the day you finally returned home, five long years later, to a world once familiar... In case it's not obvious, this is the rewrite to A World Once Familiar. I plan on expanding upon the main character (who I call Harbor Maria in place of Y/n L/n), Agent 3, and improve several scenes, as well as give the whole story some much-needed polish and a touch of my more modern writing.

14 years with peace and quiet; 14 years with no major disturbances; 14 years of Petra being dead, Pearl grieving and the agents of the Squidbeak Splatoon dealing with minor issues. Not to mention Cora (Agent 3) and Tobias (Agent 8) starting a family, Lance and Marie getting married and so much more. 14 years of peace... Isn't that a little too long for our main characters? I think our main villain would agree with that. So what would happen if a familiar member of the huge, confusing family, reappears but as a villain, 3 people already having known about them being alive? (Theoretically) What would happen when people are kidnapped, experimented on, turned evil against their will and forced to fight their families? What if... They couldn't save those who they dearly loved, and had to watch them die? The agents would say that it's nothing new, but within the chaos of this new villain, they would all realise that this fight would be something new. This adventure was going to be different to anything else they have done in their lifetime. This adventure was going to change all of their lives, PERMANENTLY. Over time, they come to connect with the Inklings and put their differences aside. One of the cousins falls in love with one of the squid sisters. Part 2 (Splatoon 2): Famous Turf War Athlete Leon Finn arrives in Inkopolis Square to compete in the Turf War competition, but soon meets an unfamiliar face, which he finds delightful, and his life becomes one big adventure, that even his chaotic energy can't handle. Part 3 (Octo Expansion): A young Octoling doesn't know who he is, his only name is Eight. But when he meets Cuttlefish, his desire to escape reaches an all time high in the Deepsea Metro. When he remebers who he is, and eventually is pulled into a very threatening plan. Part 4 (Splatoon 3): A young Octoling named Paella Kani finds herself at odds, after heading to the Splatlands, she soon finds there's more chaos there than she bargained for. When she finds Alterna, she realizes that Octarians might not be the biggest threat to the world Part 5 (Side Order): Eight wakes up in a place that's completely blank, joined by a drone that seems familiar, Leon who's chaotic attitude shines on, and a new friend that's been sanitized, he goes to rescure his fellow Octoling Marina, and soon realizes that chaos might be needed to help her. She continues clearing every kettle thoroughly to try hunt him down, until one day her whole life is turned upside down.

An inkling in a new city can be pretty hard, but when she begins making friends, she finally decides to try the latest sports for the squad. That's when she meets someone special.
