You are just an average inkling in Inkopolis Square, when you notice a strange person who changes your life. This story begins in Splatoon 2, but I will mark in the chapter list when the story jumps to Splatoon 3 for those of you who want to jump straight to that point instead. During a class Grimm Hunting Exercise, Ruby Rose is separated from her team and becomes lost deep inside the Emerald Forest. One event leads to another and all of a sudden, Ruby somehow arrives in a completely different world! A world that appears to be inhabited primarily by humanoid.. squids? Set shortly after splatoon one. Agent three begins his training with the great Cuttlefish. But is the splatoon truly what it seems? With his training, the octarians, and looking after a child, what happens when his sister arrives to destroy the splatoon? Will agent three be able to save his new-found friends and mentor? Or will he lose everything once more? Timeskip after the first arc, second arc is much longer. And chapter length increases to. The second arc is about a mysterious terrorist organisation attacking both Inkopolis and the Octarian domes. When the peace that Three fought so hard for is threatened, how far will he go to get it back?

Decided to do a side story while making the main one, and I thought, make it simple, so readers can decide what the hell will happen. Enjoy.

She's now the most famous person in New Reef- along with her anchor partner, she reports the latest maps, news, and games in the city. She also hosts Splatfests- one of the biggest events in the entire planet- and every city on the planet does them. The girls on "Shoreline" are knows everywhere- and with the mystery of why Marin is only seen on the show and who she is just boosts her popularity even more. Fiona would be just a regular inkling girl- if she wasn't born with a rare "disorder" that no inkling or octoling have ever seen before- she has black ink. And she can't change her ink color- at all- but she can change others. With black ink, hair, and plain, pearly white eyes, she's someone who has to hide in the background most of the time in New Reef City. But her ink gives her an advantage- she's psychic. But none of this stops her from being a normal girl- and being one of the top Turf War players in New Reef. But her life changes when she dives into a sewer underground- and forced to become Agent 7. Along with the old Cap'n Cuttlefish, Agent one, and Agent 2- who is giving the girl something she has never felt before- she has to stop the world from something that could end it- all the while keeping her secret alter ego- Marin. You might be asking, hey Random, what's the difference between this reader insert and your other one? And I would tell ya, two things. 1. This is a more Splatoon 3 centric story, as opposed to the typical Splatoon 2 centric format. Figured may as well give some folks over in the Splatlands something to chew on while the plot of the first goes on. 2. Our lovely reader avatar is a human, as opposed to a cephalopod like in the first one. Always thought that angle of a Splatoon story was neat, may as well throw my hat into the ring right?
