New cover is designed by Tumblr user @nalina-nw If you had to summarize the previous five years of your life into one word, to encapsulate squidnapping, murder, imprisonment, survival, and forced evolution in order to see the next day, it would simply be "torment." You were supposed to just be the average inkling, Y/n L/n, known by many as the secretive, small-time singer Seaside, known best for his hidden identity and performances by the street, in garages, bars, wherever one could stop to listen and give money. Those days came, and before you could learn to appreciate them, they were gone, just like you were that fateful day you woke up away from home, just like the day you were banished to the oceans and the dangers of the planet 4546B, and just like the day you finally returned home, five long years later, to a world once familiar... In case it's not obvious, this is the rewrite to A World Once Familiar. I plan on expanding upon the main character (who I call Harbor Maria in place of Y/n L/n), Agent 3, and improve several scenes, as well as give the whole story some much-needed polish and a touch of my more modern writing.

After callie goes missing (again). Marie and the other agents of the new (new) Squidbeak Splatoon have to work together to rescue Callie from the tight grips of the Octarian army, but after a sudden incident that leaves all of the agents struggling to cope and one left crippled, will they be able to rescue Callie? Or will they fail.

After saving Inkopolis from its doom, Agent 8 goes under the name of Scarlet and lives peacefully in the home of Marina, the only friendly octoling she knows. After months of quiet living, Scarlet awakens from a startling nightmare that she knows is more than just a night terror. No one believed her until Agent 3 explained that she had the exact same dream.. Agent 3, 4 and 8 end up going down into the Deepsea Metro, where the nightmares took place. They discover something far more sinister than they could ever imagine; now they all have to find a way out of the metro alive. This story is created by me, Splatoon belongs to Nintendo. This is not the official Splatoon 3 plot, and I doubt it ever will be, so don't get your hopes up please? 😅 Enjoy the story!

But this all goes downhill when Callie has her 7th birthday. Marie has to live with her for an unknown reason, Callie's little sibling dies, and her parents get a divorce. She and her cousin are forced to stay with her now abusive mom and being forced to sing until they both pass out. Callie and Marie have one common dream, To move to Inkopolis and start a new life.
