|| A SANDLOT STORY || (you are 13-14 years old btw) San Fernando Valley, a small town smack in the center of California, summer of 1962. The kind of place where the sun didn't just shine, it lingered, stretching the days long and golden until everything felt dipped in honey. Lawns buzzed with sprinklers, radios hummed from open windows, and somewhere, always, you could hear the crack of a baseball bat echoing through the streets. But even in a place that looked this calm, there were lines drawn as clear as chalk on pavement... On one side, you had the Cherries and the Cake-Eaters. The rich. 'Cherries' was what people called you girls, though never to your faces. It was the polished shoes, the pressed skirts, the neat ponytails tied with ribbon. Your parents had money, or at least enough of it to make sure your lives stayed clean and carefully curated. You walked into places like you belonged there, like the world had already made room for you. And then there were the Streets. The boys. Dust on their jeans, scuffed sneakers, shirts half untucked and sun-faded. They didn't walk anywhere, they ran, climbed, shouted. They lived outside, in empty lots and overgrown fields, building their own kingdom out of nothing but a baseball, a beat-up glove, and whatever rules they decided mattered that day. Different worlds. Same town. And somehow, always orbiting just close enough to collide. But, for some reason, that border seemed to vanish between you and Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez.

"That was the summer of 1963 when everyone called me Babe and it didn't occur to me to mind!" Summer in Valley Vista is supposed to be simple-baseball, late nights, and staying out of trouble. But for Cynthia Alden, nothing is ever that easy. She's the less popular cousin of Wendy Peffercorn, for starters. The Sandlot boys still don't know what to make of her, and the Tigers? They're worse. "It's like winter didn't even count. My whole life was measured in summers. It's like I don't really begin living 'til June." And then there's Jordan "silver spoon, golden rule, private school, never missed Sunday church" Phillips. Staying away from him was supposed to be the premise of Cynthia's entire life... right?

Mkenna Garcia just moved into a small neighborhood in LA. She's lived in Navarre, Florida all her life and thought she'd never find a new home in California. But she was wrong. Driving into the neighborhood, Mkenna spotted a community baseball field with some kids playing on it. When she and her twin brother, Liam, go to check it out, their lives change forever.

This story takes place of the original Sandlot but has an enemies to lovers and a friends to lovers storyline like the Sandlot 2. More of a friends to lovers trope. Amelia Baker is a girl who just moved to a small town in Los Angeles, CA with her mom, dad, and little brother Austin. In this town the only person or people who seems to be nice to her is a kid who goes by Phillips and his baseball buddies. She trust Phillips and he tells her everything she wants to know or everything he thinks she should know. Amelia learns that Phillips isn't as honest as he plays to be and the "Sandlot kids" aren't as bad as she thought they were. Amelia in the process of figuring out her feelings for each team captain, she needs to figure out her healing process with her grandmothers passing. Everyday there's something new going on in Amelia's life and she can't handle it on her own.

One little game changed her life. Skye "Hurricane" Parker is a baseball player, the only female player on the team. But she can't play in games, the umpires nor opposing teams would allow her.
