In the forgotten realm there resided a group known as the untouched. In this place. A portal with the power to traverse through timelines and worldlines existed. The untouched formed guilds where they could sort their people through so that they could send them through the other side with knowledge and skill they require. Yet a guild separated itself from the others. It was the Squire's Guild. Here they trained orphans loyalty and trust until they were adults. Making them men with undying loyalty to that he would serve. Meet Galahd, or as his name goes in the squire's guild. Squire number 112700. There's nothing special with a man like him. He was just like the rest of the squires who was being trained in the guild. Like the others, he was a squire who would swear undying loyalty to the queen he would serve. He worked along with thousands of men like him. All training hard for the moment they lived for. And that was to cross the portal to other worlds to meet their lovely queen. Yet on the eve of their graduation, Galahd was missing. It wasn't his decision to miss the most important day in his life. He was attacked, for reasons unknown. And now he laid bloodied in his own apartment. With no one, including his friends, were able to rescue him. Yet what hope could a dying man like him have?

When medieval re-enactors 'The House of Alderford' attend the grand re-opening of Castle Clastermackle, little do they imagine the living history event they are attending will become just that – living history. Rig's wretch of a brother has just run off to alope leaving their father in quite a debt. With no money their only option is to work the debt off. Rig's father is the black smith in Bule, a small remote village. Rig has grown strong learning her fathers trade. So she disguise herself as one of her brothers to pay back the debt. What she doesn't account for is a war brewing in the north that has come to claim young men including one Ryleigh Riggen a country smiths son or so the men around her think. There's been talk of Yern and the beasts that protect its border. There's been villages attacked and many young men and women have disappeared. Rig has no business going to war. She has no business in traveling with men. But it wont be so easy for her to escape. Not when The Lord's son as decided she be his squire.
