With this creates the Council of Supernatural beings. They all have set a law in place where all families must give up their kids at age 16 ,to a supernatural being theyre assigned to in hopes of them finding their mates. 16 year old Xaylia Salvatore finds out she is being sold to her abusive ex Reese, whom is Hybrid, her parents abusive as well. So she runs away from home in hopes that she doesn't get sold to Reese. which her parents plan on in order to get more money. while running she runs into the prince of the vampires, Remington Leith. But what if she gets so much more than she bargained for?
