Reality went from being on spring break in your dream city, to desperately trying to escape a murderous psychopath hidden within a labyrinth of books. Marie Thompson is an extraordinary student. She knows several languages and manages to always go above and beyond in any academic class. Marie is prepared for anything, whether it be a pop quiz or a surprise conversation in Latin. Until the senior spring break trip to Paris, France. A trip that forced a once excluded Marie to interact with three other students with tainted histories of their own. Alexei Ivanov a quiet, mysterious guy who for some reason knows martial arts, Ex best friend Sasha Russo a beauty queen that you don't want on your bad side, And Issac Moore kind, intelligent, cute, and a hottie to Marie's eyes. This would of course be exciting if they weren't all stuck in a book store, at night with a killer, on the loose, and their only escape a key which is helpfully missing. Marie must lead her group to safety, but first find the key, uncover the killer, and save anyone else who might be caught in the crossfire. After all it was her fault they were all their in the first place. How can she do all of this when their are deep feelings tugging inside her, distracting her from the most important thing. Life or death. Paris was suppose to be a place filled with museums and cafes, not bookstores filled with murder.
