*UNFINISHED!! I am writing this as I go but feel free to read what I've done so far its not a lot!* This is a fanfiction of Steve and Nancy (stancy) which are characters from a show called Stranger Things by the Duffer Brothers - Not my characters. I was disappointed by the way season 5 went so I wrote this as my version of how I wanted stancy to be. It will follow on from the end of season 4 but I've changed it up a bit for unexpected plot twists so sorry for any confusions! (It is NOT scripted but I have taken some of the lines and just muddled them up to be in different scenes so it's slightly different.) Im still keeping all of their relationship key moments from seasons 1-4 the same but youll find that some of their season 4 chemistry will be different to make it more interesting and there will be changes to the season 4 and 5 storyline. In Hawkins, nothing ever stays normal for long. Steve Harrington is doing his best to move forward-keeping his head down, playing his part, and distancing from everything he doesn't know how to deal with anymore. Including his girlfriend, Nancy Wheeler. Including the past. Including what he's supposed to want. Then Maya Calloway arrives. She doesn't fit into anything he already knows. Not the past. Not the present. Not the version of himself he's trying to become. She talks like she's already won the argument. She looks at him like she's not impressed. And worst of all-she doesn't react the way everyone else does. At first, she's just another problem in a town that has too many of them. But Hawkins has a habit of turning "temporary" into something a lot more permanent. And Steve is starting to realize that the hardest thing in this town isn't surviving what's underneath it. It's figuring out who you're becoming while you're still standing on it.

To the rest of the world, everything is normal, but for Nancy Wheeler, every shadow is an enemy. Her only plan is to survive the holidays and flee back to her new world, far away from Hawkins. But then, at the Winter Ball, she unexpectedly finds herself standing across from Steve Harrington. The only person who understands her scars-and the only one who can keep her nightmares at bay.

Mike Wheeler had always been passive in his life, but after the death of his great "love," Jane Hopper (Eleven), that passivity weighed on him even more. He shut himself inside his house and drifted away from all his closest friends, but when he sees Will again-now more confident and radiant-everything changes. I wrote a short part of this story right after the season had just ended, and now I suddenly feel like publishing it ahaha. After the events on spring break 1986, the gang is back together for one final goal: find and defeat Vecna. After the.. final product.. The Duffer Brothers gave us, I decided to take matters into my own hands and rewrite Stranger Things Season 5. This is fan-fiction, so no, none of this is cannon.
