At age ten I thought I had a brain tumor. already seen as a hypochondriac, I stood no chance of being taken seriously. facing horrific times at school my self esteem was nil. join Me, if you fancy, as I try to find the funny side of my story so far. I am about to take you on a journey through the eyes of an obsessive compulsive girl who just so happens to be me. OCD is more often than not, seen as a pretty harmless infliction that causes the person suffering to line their cans of beans up so they all face the same way. They probably check the door is locked a couple more times than is needed. These are indeed some traits of OCD but, there is so much more to it. I have dealt with the the obsessions and compulsions that this illness comes along with. I'm not a doom and gloom merchant and I shall endeavor to keep the pages I share with you here, as light hearted as possible whilst giving a bit of insight into what it's been like living with a totally messed up head on my broad ( I'm six foot and built like a mountain troll) shoulders. My lack of confidence and inability to really make my voice heard as a child led me to a deeply dark and almost deadly place.
