Alternate ending of Sparkhouse, a modern Wuthering Heights – inspired BBC TV series. I love the movie "Sparkhouse" starring Richard Armitage as John Standring, but I wished always for a slightly changed ending. So I have decided to write something like that. I do not own the characters of the story.

A story for anyone who wanted the lovely John Standring to have a future. I wrote this to lay some ghosts after watching Sparkhouse (more than once!) and feeling like I needed closure on what happens next.

Inspired by a comment made on Servetus' excellent blog Me + Richard Armitage, this is a series of humorous stories based around the premise of "What if RA's characters hung around my house, eating my junk food, watching the telly, sparring, and in general amusing themselves in their down time?" The initial standalone story was such a hit it became a series.

About a Celebrity

Ralph John Standring is trying to make a new home and a new life for himself after being jilted at the altar. He has lost the ability to trust, since his trust was broken. And he doesn't believe in love anymore. Yet what does anyone want but to belong--to someone or somewhere? And to have them belong to you--be they lover, family, or friend. Will Ralph have his own Christmas wish fulfilled this year, of him belonging to someone special, and having she belonging to him? Ralph had vowed never to trust and never to love again. Jest to opowieść o rozkwitającej miłości nieśmiałego, zamkniętego w sobie Johna i przebojowej, pewnej siebie Kate, która postawiła sobie trudne zadanie - oswojenie mężczyzny, dla którego straciła głowę, a który został w życiu mocno skrzywdzony i nie dopuszcza do siebie myśli, że zasługuje na szczęście... Opowieść jest oparta na wydarzeniach z filmu "Sparkhouse", ("Dom na wrzosowisku") i nie ma na celu naruszenia praw autorskich. "Książę z lawendowych pól" to alternatywna wersja losów Johna z tegoż filmu, jednak z filmem prócz kilku szczegółów nie ma zbyt wiele wspólnego i nawet osoba nie znająca "Sparkhouse" może spokojnie czytać, i będzie wiedzieć o co chodzi - takie przynajmniej jest założenie :-)
