The people gossiped in the streets, their baskets hiding their faces, their voices, hush, disappearing when the sound of hooves rang in the distance. Riders appeared from afar, of a young man, thin but tall, his face stern and unforgiving, with black hair and blue eyes, along with several of his men appearing into view, heading toward Red Keep. ~ "I am not the most cheerful, or the greatest warrior, nor do I have any iron claim, but..." He paused, looking down at her while her eyes stared into his. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks before he continued. "I seem to have fallen for you." ~ I have wondered, what if Stannis was happy? Because the idea is so foreign, I have never found a fanfiction expressing this idea, nor even one about his early life, so I have decided to write a little something for my AU version of Game of Thrones. ~ I do not own the artwork nor the original storyline/characters, but I do own this storyline and any OCS I may add-in. And this may differ from the tv show because finding anime or cartoon-styled representations of characters, spares me the job of finding actors or ppl online whose permission I do not have to use the picture as an example 😅.

Sandor is book age - 26 ish. Book canon is favoured over TV show canon, and there are some original characters featured. References to violence/rape but nothing explicit, no smut. Most of the characters and locations are the creations of GRR Martin, with the exceptions of my own original characters and the Sept of Stones. Melody June Baratheon had everything she ever wanted growing up. Three loving and protective brothers, the best education Westeros had to offer, friends, and lovers. Needless to say, Melody doesn't like the idea, but has no idea what else to do. So she agrees. When she meets Jaime Lannister face to face, Melody hates him more than she can admit out loud. Jaime, however, seems at least a little pleased and protective of Melody. He brings his own security team with him and assigns one of the bodyguards to protect Melody. Melody and the guard hit it off and soon Melody begins to doubt if she'll be able to go through with the wedding. Unfortunately, there is no room for love in the game of politics. This story is an AU. Cersei and Robert were never married only engaged, Jaime and Cersei are not in their...special relationship. XD I do not own any Game of Thrones characters. After a horrible shipwreck that claimed the lives of her parents, Elizabeth Baratheon and her brothers seek refuge in King's Landing. Over the years, as the spirit of rebellion against the crown increases, Elizabeth's fury towards the lions abides, as does their prideful attitude towards her. Looking back on his life Stannis feels mostly regret. All he can see is the thinghs he hadn't done, the words he hasn't said. Because he was too cold. All the smiles he never smiled, all the tears he never shed.
