Steven has left Beach City to find himself, some are happy, others sad, but one gem in particular is shattered. Lapis knew she loved Steven ever since he grew up into the man he is now, but problem is he was with Connie. But all happy things come to an end. The demons that Steven thought he conquered finally have now resurfaced with self hatred. Lapis begins to become depressed and all the gems begin to worry. She becomes lost without the one person that made her whole. Now a new enemy surfaces, bringing Steven back into the fight for one last time. Will Steven ever accept Lapis's unconfined feelings for him? Or will she be left in heart break? Find out

The truth is out. Rose Quartz, the leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion, was Pink Diamond all along. It shocked all of the Gems, but Steven was the most affected. His anger now only grows, seeing that his mother, who he once looked up too, was nothing more than a coward, a murderer, and a liar. What pushes him over the edge is when Pearl and the other Crystal Gems still want him to be like her. Pearl doesn't realize, though, that she will set off a chain of events that nobody could've predicted, starting with her 'baby' going back to when it all began.
