Milly thinks she hates Starfleet, But she can't seem to stay away from them. When they realize who she is they are determined not to let her go. (I'm planning for this to be one of a trilogy, This story is completely of my own making and most of the characters are my own, Milly was inspired by Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet but she is the only one. Unless I decide to have Kirk and Spock and the others show up of course.)

Everyone is thrilled about the prospect of spending shore leave engaged in a thrilling murder mystery. Set at a large fictional manor house they attempt to solve the mystery written in the holodeck program. But it soon becomes apparent things are not quite what they seem. There's something about the butler that's familiar and unwelcome. Neither Captain Picard nor Guinan can quite put a finger on it. The Enterprise crew soon realise they are puppets in a game - and Lore and Q are pulling the strings. Ensemble cast.

He's never quite fit into either - not Klingon enough for the Empire, yet as the only one of his kind in Starfleet, he's too different for his fellow crewmembers to easily embrace. Except her. She doesn't have the culutral sophistication of Will Riker, the wordly experience of Deanna, or Geordi's sense of humour. No, as the child of a forgotten backwater colony, she doesn't get their cultural references or jokes. But she's always right behind him.
