Star has to make a compromise with her mom. She would have to go to St. Olga's Reform School For Wayward Princesses for a year then she could come back to earth. Marco was sad to see her leave, but as he got ready for high school things change. When she gets back one year later, Marco isn't the friend she knew. High School changes people. They have to become best friends again as an evil force is forming against them.

Star the popular girl wants two things: 1) get the lead role in the school play and 2) be noticed by her crush Marco, a geek.
