Staranger Stories

Werewolves and vampires were all just bedtime stories to Elissia. Something her dad used to scare her with on stormy nights. She was told that the most dangerous things that lived in the forest surrounding her house were wolves and grizzlies. That's why she was never allowed to go into the forest at night. Not because some stupid, magical creatures. But when a strange man visits her home, saying something about "being claimed", and she ends up fighting a boy who morphs into something inhuman, she questions what she has been told her entire life. What are they? Is she one of them? And why has this been hidden from her for her entire life?
