They were best friends growing up, but as they reached their teen years, they began a relationship. Everything in their lives seemed perfect- until a vicious attack from raiders leaves everything in ruins. Everything they ever knew was destroyed and their families were murdered in cold blood. Samantha and Dan flee from the vault and enter a broken, corrupt, post nuclear apocalyptic world that their ancestors once called home. There they attempt to start a new life, finding refuge in a little village, but this bleak, new world is full of danger and they struggle to survive.
