Starbound Stories

Slightly embellished chronicles of my Starbound Character, Cyfle, written in short chapters as we follow her adventures through the Galaxy. Continuity may be stretched or ignored, for which I do apologize, but it's a weird mash of documenting in game events and creating original story, so bear with me. Also chapters may be moved around in terms of order.

(A StarCraft/Starbound Story) "The Terrene Protectorate... Known for the Protectors... but when the defense falls, and diplomacy fails...you go on the offense... This is where the Terrene Marine Corp comes in" "At first, they were made up of USCM members who sought solidarity with the Protectorate, though it soon extended to volunteers as well. The former USCM members acted as leadership, Drill Sergeants, etc." "Despite the life expectancy being, at best, a few minutes, the Marine Corp held the line against the many threats from beyond with a great courage and great dedication to duty not seen before... Until...one day... they vanished from records... Last spotted fighting off a race of predatorial creatures known as the Zerg, despite eradicating the enemy, they were decimated to only a few squads... So the Marine Corp disbanded... They were powerless to stop the Fall of Earth... " "Many thought that was the end of the Protectorate, and to an extent, the Marine Corp... But the fight still rages on...This time... It's against the Ruin... and we will fight until there's no fight left in us... We are crafted for the stars!"

Septinium is a story about Raena and her journey with a mysterious Novakid named Ethyl, alongside his crew after the destruction of Earth by the Ruin. The story is similar to the original game, but with a little but with some differences. The artifact quests will be included, but with other events. This story might contain sensitive content like cursing, violence, use of alcohol, and dirty jokes

Vivofruit, like any other Floran, likes excitement. And so it isn't much of a surprise that, given a ship and the knowledge to work it, she often gets into a lot of trouble with a lot of different people. And upon rescuing an Apex from a Minikong town, she adds a particularly dangerous enemy to this list... *All of this is WIP and subject to change.

Simple fan fiction based off of Starbound gameplay with me and my friends. Not all gameplay, but also ideas we came up with while playing. I may be adding original story divergent from Starbound. Feel free to check out my original storylines. Most of which are also sci-fi.

The Protectorate. An alliance formed by people driven by courage and Justice, and the desire to spread good will. There is usually a graduation ceremony, which graduates are given their very own Matter Manipulator. The most recent ceremony, however... Has been the last. That day, many would've become a Protector. Sadly... Very few made it out alive. The Ruin. A creature the size of a small moon, had destroyed the planet, causing millions to lose their life. People did escape, however. And this. This is their story.

Cieron the Felin is graduating from the Protectorate Academy, but he's late! When he finally gets to his ceremony, the entire academy gets destroyed, along with the Earth. Will Cieron escape? And what happens after? Find out in this thrilling adventure based off of Starbound by Chucklefish Games.

Earth is dying. Resources are running out and already more than half of the planet is uninhabitable. Not to mention the fact that humans are near extinction. But there is hope for the human race. On the first day of each year, the Leaders of Earth (LOE) put together a list of people turning eighteen and pick out one hundred names at random. Each of these names is paired with another to form a Pair which will then be sent out into the universe to search for a new home for the humans. Zach and Charlotte are one such Pair. Trained almost from birth for a destiny like this, both are well prepared for the journey ahead. But while Charlotte can't wait to escape Earth, Zach isn't so sure. The further the Pair travel from Earth, the closer he grows to jeopardising their mission. Can she convince him otherwise before they both end up dead?

A treaty disrupted, lives lost, planet after planet being destroyed. The fate of the universe rests in the missing artifacts of a holy being, though the tracks of these artifacts have been lost throughout the ages. With the clock ticking to the release of a planet destroying Titan, multiple sides must fight against each other, either to make the universe or break it. Author Notes This is a reboot of an older story that I posted two years ago. I decided to make an attempt to outdo myself on it, seeing as it had gotten to so many good ratings. Enjoy a better version. The story is based off the video game "Starbound", I recocomend it to anyone that enjoys space and/or Terraria. - Seb
