This is NOT my book, credits go to @ButtonDuck on AO3 This is one of my favorite fanfictions and so I wanted to repost it on here so more people can read this masterpiece :) I cant find the exact tw's but just a warning that there is angst and just angsty things in the book, !Schlattbur btw! Summary: He has no idea how he's ended up sprawled across Schlatt, but he has a perfect view of him looking intently at the screen, face alight with interest. And Wilbur believes that Schlatt's made from stardust when he looks up at him. "What're you looking at?" Schlatt murmurs, reaching a hand down to brush at Wilbur's hair, though he quickly pulls it away, and Wilbur wonders if he too is made from stars, hot enough to burn. Bit of a slow-burn, but worth reading the book

Sixto's been watching him from across the café for three months - Ellie, the barista with hands that move like water when he pulls espresso, and a smile that only comes out when he thinks no one's looking. He had no idea those words would soon become the anthem of the most important three months of his life. With each order he places and collects, Sixto leaves behind a paper napkin - always folded neatly, with "thank you" written in neat cursive and tiny stars drawn around the words. The stars are symbolic to him, each one represents a moment their eyes locked, a small piece of his feelings he dares to leave behind when he can't find the words to say them aloud. They don't know each other's names yet - only the weight of passing stares, the quiet rustle of napkins sliding across the counter, and brief exchanges that never go beyond: "Iced latte, please" and "Here you go - enjoy your day." Will Sixto finally work up the courage to say more than his order?

The stars have personalities, you know. The Constellations, too. They even have an entire hidden world amongst the humans on Earth. Granted, being good at hiding might have hindered them in the long-run. An adventurous trip to the cafe was all the excitement Lynn got, and that's not saying much. It wasn't until her best friend, Grey, revealed a life-changing secret that proved that fairy tales, no matter how insane, no matter how sky-high (literally) can be true.
