It's the end of Harry Potter's third year at Hogwarts, and Platform 9¾ is louder than ever-filled with returning students, secrets that refuse to stay buried, and friendships stretched thin by fear and loyalty. When Ivy Rose McAlister returns to Hogwarts after being expelled from Beauxbatons, she isn't just another student boarding the Hogwarts Express. A pureblood of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, sorted into Hufflepuff despite carrying the instincts of a Slytherin, Ivy walks a line between worlds that don't know what to do with her. But with one leg, not many star gazing spots, and a island that's turns girls her age into mermaids, shes really not going to catch a break. Especially since her dad is hell bent on her making friends and one of them has an attractive twin brother.

Celeste Collins needs a break from her hectic life. Josh Huang needs his best employee on a business trip with him. Josh reluctantly chooses Celeste to accompany him on a business trip to Aurora, New York to decide whether or not they will expand the company beyond or stay in a linear position. Despite his aversion to having others around and his initial reservations, he finds himself surprisingly drawn to Celeste's upbeat personality, and her willingness and enjoy the experience more than expected. Celeste will gladly accompany her boss if it means she gets an almost free vacation and gets paid. But when she realizes that she'll be staying with him at his lake house there and will be forced to be in his space a long period of time, feelings from her past begin to resurface. Perhaps she will be able to confide in Josh. And he will be able to help her heal.

Open doors were leading outside. The Rest of the Starry Manor stood so close to the hill that one step out of the house was enough to start the climb. The green peak was covering that widely, that I didn't even notice it was almost dusk. But I didn't want to leave Miss W. that early. I felt she had something to say. The woman stepped outside and started climbing up the hill. It was the one with the green stone on the top. Her heels weren't drowning in the grass, her hair and clothes weren't moved by the wind. She was moving with such grace as if she had done that at least a million times. Well, maybe she had.She put the telescope back under the moss. For a while, we were staring at the sky together. Miss W.' eyes were sad, like she was missing something she never had. As if those stars knew something no one else did. -There's wisdom in stars, Alma. - she said - They are the most experienced creatures in the whole universe. Some poems and a bit of prose that I write. I've only started writing recently, so it is not anything exceptional, but maybe you'll enjoy reading it. So, give it a shot.

They start as friends but could their friendship blossom into something more? stargazing with the girl you like. This book is about girls coming to terms with who they are and who they want to be.

As the title suggests - these are my very own free verse poems. I had started writing those back in the late 90s to early 2000s, and from one day to the next, BOOM! My skill had disappeared again. Fast forward to 2021: Blood Youth, one of my fav bands, released their first new song in almost two years, and the floodgates opened. Some of those have been inspired by Blood Youth, others came to me in various other moments, some are autobiographical, too. It's just how my brain works.
