After the Convergence and the Third World populations were eliminated from the world, things were supposed to get better. People were supposed to be happier, and society should have lifted the fog and risen above the evils and inequalities of the past. Three friends will stick with each other and realize that no matter how hard they try, they cannot outwit or run away from the corrupt system. All they can do is stare it straight in the eyes. This is based off of a historical fiction piece that I had to write for school. I expanded and tweaked it in order to make it a dystopian future story because I'm in love with that genre. It is based off of the encomiendero and the Spaniard affect on the natives of Cuba.

Calie is an ordinary girl from Texas, but after her suddent move to New York she meets these two brothers Levi and Leo and they are not so ordinary.
