This is due to countless outlaw bands that rose up and seized dominion long ago after the Exodus from Earth after the "AI War" was lost. This gave way to a galactic police force called the Star Brigade. They fight to restore order, but to no avail. That is until a kid named Ezrith Helix joins their ranks. Slowly, he begins to unravel the deep "Origin" of the galaxy, and Earth's ancient plight.

What if a "baddie" was a real mythical creature?

The story of Commander Up and Lieutenant Taz from the musical Starship, made by StarKid. Taz, Up, Krayonder, Space-Claw (and I might add Tootsie, Specs, February, Megagirl, Bug and Junior) and any references to Bug World belong to StarKid. However, I own Joey, Paul, Rachel, Commander Hibbart, Peter and any other characters! This starts from after Up has his injury, but there may be some flashbacks... Points of view are mostly Taz and Up, and are alternated. Changes of points of view are shown with ---hyphens---. Any notes from me at the beginning or end of a chapter are seperated from the story with ===equals signs=== Are they going to get together? You'll have to read to find out! Enjoy! xxxxx

The Starkid fandom is small so here's some extra fics

The interplanetary police force known as Origin Project has taken the place of the old and corrupted Star Brigade. But war rears its ugly head again! New outlaw bands are rising exponentially. Oasis Helix takes the helm as leader of the Origin Project but is faced with the dynamics of romantic ties to his girlfriend who works at a prison/psyche ward full of conniving cyborgs who were imprisoned after the Omega War ended. There may be another Omega War coming!

The Council is now at war, and the Alacritous Regress is once again at the front of things. Whether it's a covert mission into enemy space, or a desperate political maneuver to get allies, the crew of the Alacritous will have to be at the top of their game, or they might not make it back alive.

what humans did before the sun exploded and also a lead up to some philosophical short stories

In this story (which is my first :D) Talia and her best friend Gemma go to the University of Michigan to study theater. After meeting the Starkids, they think they will be happy in their new home. Will they be, or will romance take over their lives? And With romance there is heartbreak. I hope you enjoy!

The universe is ancient, old, and most importantly, dead. The heat death of the universe has taken it's toll, and not only have the last stars died out long before, but the remainder of the black holes that had formed the centers of the ancient galaxies have also evaporated completely. One lone starship floats through the vastness of space collecting the stray particles that litter the now otherwise empty void of space, but even the atomic nuclei are now beginning to break down and succumb to entropy. Can one lone scientist find a way to reverse the flow of entropy and save trillions of lives in an act that cannot be accomplished without defying the laws of physics?
