After discovering she is pregnant, Rory moves back to Stars Hollow and has no idea how her life is going to turn out. Struggling with motherhood, she finds herself again dealing with old feelings for a love from the past while she tries to manage things with the father of her baby. The story is set right after the revival "Gilmore Girls - A Year in the Life"

Rory definitely doesn't have her life together at the end of AYITL, but luckily she has lots of friends in Stars Hollow who are willing to help her get through her most difficult year yet...and one ex-boyfriend who seems more eager to help than most. This next chapter picks up right where 'A Year in the Life' left off: the day Rory breaks the news to Lorelei that she's pregnant. Will Rory be able to get it together in time for the arrival of her baby? Will Logan step up to the plate? Did Jess really ever stop loving Rory? And what happens to Lane, Sookie, Lorelei, Luke, Paris, Tristan, Kirk, Michel, and Emily?? (This is honestly my selfish excuse to rewrite some of the wrongs that happened in AYITL, and it may be obvious from the cover how this fic is gonna go. I got tired of seeing all the Logan-centric fics and decided to go a different, better route. Hehe. Enjoy!) Currently rated T. Some discussion of sexual acts and strong language. Due to conflicts with The CW, the original creators and screenwriters of Gilmore Girls, Amy Sherman- Palladino and her husband Daniel Palladino left the beloved show after season 6. As a result, even though the new writers were not exactly bad and the actors of course kept their own charme, the last season felt weird, hysterical and just wasn't the same anymore. ( I mean, honestly, Taylor would NEVER let Kirk only as much as touch his car...) Of course, I am not Amy Sherman-palladino either, but I'll do my best to create an alternative screenplay that is more stringent and closer to the first six seaons.
