you are a startouch elf working along side the moonshadow elves when you make a massive discovery. you also meet new people along the way and even catch feeling for one of them..(all the types of elves in dragon prince are: moonshadow, earthblood, startouch, sunfire, skywing and tide bound elves. Google it if you don't believe me ;)

On the night a village falls, a child switches sides. (Y/n) is a 7-year-old human, but she always felt like there was something different about her. She treasures an amulet that once belonged to her mother, unaware of the secrets it holds. After joining the elves, her life takes a turn when she discovers a piece of the truth about her origins and her purpose. At the age of 8, (Y/n) embarks on a journey to uncover the rest of the puzzle pieces that reveal the forgotten truth. She must also confront a great evil that threatens to break free from its prison. (I do not own "The Dragon Prince" or any of its lovely characters. I read only one x child reader story of this fandom and it really inspired me to write one as well because why not? The more the merrier!)

Everyone in Xadia knows Aaravos. The feared Startouch elf and archmage, master of all spells and elements. But no one knows the shadow right behind him, because he never let her out of his sight. Only the little butterfly that could be seen in every picture of him indicated her existence. Only a few knew her. And like him, she was locked up. She lay in the freezing cold, deep under water. Deep into an eternal sleep. Left alone in the depths by none other than her beloved big brother. So she was forgotten until two princes and an elf woke her up by an accident.

Xadia was once whole, and in peace, with both humans and elves. But then dark magic was discovered, used by a human, it drains the magical life out of living creatures of magic. They grew scared of such a thing, along the elves. along a traitor who fooled everyone to believe the Archmage, a Startouched elf, was behind it. Imprisoning him so the traitor could take his place and become powerful. That traitor, was my grandfather, the one we call Atrocious. The humans and elves had no choice but to split, to protect each other. Though some of the humans were learning dark magic, they do not wish to do harm, only to research on how to reverse the damage and find a way to stop my grandfather. When he was discovered as the traitor, he went into hiding. My parents and I were but travelers wondering outside of Xadia to discover and learn. However, Atrocious found us, turned as a hideous monster of darkness and evil, sickened to devour all magical life for power. My parents sacrificed themselves to save me and his failed experiment, and sealed him away. But for how long, I'm not sure. However, his created monsters leak out of his prison to hunt for magical creatures to drain them of life, and rain chaos across Xadia, had I not warned everyone to be ready for his monsters and find a way to stop him. Though after many years, We've grown to realize that us of Xadia aren't our only hope, but humanity... Me, My little dragon...
