Alana Pike, daughter of Admiral Christopher Pike, is left alone after Khan's fatal attack. Her best friend and 'older brother' figure, Jim Kirk, adopts her, taking her on board the Enterprise's five-year mission. On its first mission to Exaltron 8, Kirk and Spock are greeted by then hostile aliens, ordering their death for being "false gods." After Alana's rescue attempt becomes the laugh of the Enterprise, more trouble ensures after the mission to Exaltron, with the ship drifting away from a starbase, with only a few crew members. After learning the ship's location, Alana has to choose between orders and her gut feeling, but one mistake can cost her rank- or even lives. Originally published- sometime in summer 2016... Finished: January 9, 2017 Began in eighth grade and finished because why not. So have fun with it, but don't laugh too hard.

Well, it did for two people, Cassidy Melora Ryann and James Tiberius Kirk. On her final night of her trip back to the academy, Cadet Ryann had skived off studying for her exams next semester to join her classmates at a downtown bar. [STAR TREK AU MINI STORY SCENE] An Early Exploration Mission aboard the USS Arsenal goes wrong when Dr. T'lirri is severely injured on Bia Delta XIX, resulting in a severe injury when she takes a hit meant for Captain Hayvna and it causes emotional tension between her and Hayvna. Hayvna struggles with the guilt of T'lirri getting hurt and refuses to take time off for her own recovery, causing concern for both the crew and T'lirri.

After returning to the ship with Khan, Spock is unsure of where he stands with Nyota. A long-overdue conversation is necessary for Nyota to assure Spock that she isn't going anywhere any time soon. One-Shot
