The story of the Eleventh Fleet continues. Captain Kal Henderson is still not on full duty after his near death experience. Taking the newly refurbished Hakashan ship out for a test drive, he leaves behind just four of the Hakashans. On the station, Pahriketh, the skilled warrior of the Hakashans remains behind to prepare for a special test she hopes to pass. To help her is the meek Rogerah, the smallest Hakashan of the crew. While Pahriketh is loud, forceful, and enjoys life with gusto, Rogerah is quiet and would rather study. Rogerah harbors feelings for Pahriketh, but has never found courage to tell her. Now, Chris Henderson is making another play for the woman he desires, the glorious Pahriketh. To make matters worse, the Cultural and Customs, the C and C, has sent a representative to investigate the Hakashans suitability to be allowed on Federation owned property. Admiral Bonita Henderson struggles with keeping the C and C rep from evicting the Hakashans from the station while her son attempts to court the most forceful and boisterous one of all. Who is sending Pahriketh love letters unsigned? Why would the C and C mark the Hakashans as a Class 5 race? Can Chris go five seconds with a beautiful woman without getting slapped?

I FINALLY did it! Since I got into Star Trek: the Original Series, I've been thinking; I've done Reboot!Leonard/Rowena, but how would it be different in TOS? And this came out. Every season is it's own story, by the way. For those of you that don't know, Rowena is my Star Trek OC, Assistant Chief Medical Officer on the Enterprise, Scotty's little sister, and (in this case) eventual love interest for our favorite country doctor. I thought Star Trek was just supposed to be a TV show. One near and dear to my heart, yes, but still only entertainment brought to live by dedicated actors and TV/Film-makers. So, tell me then, how is it that Captain Kirk and Spock are sitting on my couch, and the U.S.S. Enterprise is in my yard?

Just months after the new Cardassian Dominion alliance decimated the Demilitarized Zone, Starfleet is facing the prospect of war against a villain almost as dangerous as the Borg. Diplomats are hopeful for a treaty, however Starfleet prepares for war. Captain Peyton left his uniform behind when Starfleet turned their back on a people he loved, a people who were destroyed when the DMZ fell. However, Starfleet has asked him to return and lead a special project he had devised years ago to help bolster the fleets. Against his own personal feelings, he chooses to come back to help protect the Federation. Little did he expect to face his past and a new threat to the Federation within days of starting the project. Note to readers: This story was written twenty years ago. I revisited it and re-wrote it with a better eye after having published 17 books professionally since then. This is a my love letter to Star Trek that I grew up with. Any similarities to what has come out since then are coincidence. I did not add or change any of the story points or ideas in the re-write. The stories basic points are the same as I wrote them more than two decades ago.
