As punishment Grand Admiral Thrawn sends her to capture "The Avatar Spirit" which has been damaging imperial ships in the outer rim and delaying imperial supply runs. SW fans, I'm just using information that I know from The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Mandalorian, plus the prequels and ot. I am unfamiliar in the Sequel, legends, books, and any other areas of Star Wars.

Rey Nobody has taken Ben's hand, and joined him. Ben starts to train her in the way's of the force, both sides. But soon, order is disrupted. A message sent across the galaxy announces that the feared sith lord, Palpatine, has returned. Ben refuses support from Palpatine, because he would have to turn over Rey.
