ON HOLD FOR NOW What if Ben Solo never turned? What if Rey knew her lineage all along? Let's invert their stories and discover what happens when our favorite couple finally meets, this time, in opossite sides of the Force. This story will include lore from both Canon and Legends; I believe including these elements will add more significance to the story and make it far more interesting.

After a decision that splits Kylo Ren in two, Anakin takes the opportunity to talk some sense into his grandson. With a change of heart, Ben starts himself on the path towards a new destiny and is forced to come to terms with his past. Rey, in turn, finds herself moving towards a darker path filled with grief and family, as she strives to find her place in the galaxy. The only thing that links the two is an unspoken destiny, and mentors who leave them with more questions than answers.

As you lay on the grass under the warmth of the sunlight, waiting for him to come back from his mission, you think about the night that completely changed your life in the Resistance. You had no idea how he convinced you to follow him to that secluded, grassy spot, but as the pale moonlight highlighted his beautiful features you stopped questioning yourself. It was time to live in the moment. Disclaimer: I do not own the character Poe Dameron, nor the Resistance mentioned in the chapter.

He could see the boy's dark locks of hair that kept falling into his eyes. And when he does that he can't stop imagining what his life would be like if he never let him go. If he didn't lose his brother and best friend that day. Some people say that Poe can't let go of the past and maybe they are right.

This is a rewritten work of my old fanfiction. After finishing medical school you decide to join the first order as one of their medics. A routine assignment does not go as planned and it's on you to take care of the supreme leader.

With his best friend murdered, and in love with a pilot from outer space, Finn has to leave the comfort and safety of home where he worked as a cashier and follow a new path in hopes of becoming a Jedi. At first his new life in space is like a dream, but as time goes on, Finn begins to uncover the dark truth about his friends, and how evil is not found only in the First Order.

Rey had accepted she would probably never return to Jakku after joining the Resistance. She had accepted the fact that her parents were gone. She was able to move on, to embrace her role the Resistance. But she didn't quite have the closure she had hoped for. Until she was given a chance to return. I'm going to be honest here: I don't actually ship these two. But I saw a competition prompt, and the idea was in my mind, and this happened. Ack. Why did I do this. Whatever. You might enjoy it anyway. Spoilers? Minor ones from the Last Jedi. You're probably fine, though. I do not own the world, the setting, or any of the characters.
