The Batch lost Crosshair on a mission shortly after Echo joined. They thought him dead, grieved him. But Crosshair survived, and it's not until after the Empire's formation, after the Batch has walked away, that they find him again. Crosshair isn't the same as he once was, but then, neither are they. Only together can they mend their broken pieces.

Not so long ago, the Jedi were known as the peacekeepers of the galaxy. Everything changed when the war came. It rounded up all it could, as trauma is best experienced shared. They don't call it trauma-bonding for nothing. Her path wasn't to act as a Jedi Knight, she forged a different path. Yet, she answered when the knock came. She had to. She learned all she could about military tactic and how war could change a person. Even though it wasn't as planned, she was content with her place during the war. She had grown used to it, learned to accept it. But, like everything, the war had to come to an end and become one with the force - a thing of the past. An unfortunate and devastating event landed her on the team of Clone Force 99. The horrors didn't end there.

You managed to survive getting shot down by your clone troopers, only you're now stranded on Ryloth. As a Jedi, it's dangerous to be anywhere, but especially on an Imperial occupied planet. You're alone, with a weekly and daily schedule to keep your sanity while hiding in the desert mountains. Only, your relative peace is interrupted by a surprising ally, a rogue Clone Captain who also escaped the Empire. How will you two work together? Will one of you eventually betray or kill the other, or will you trust each other and work together to escape Ryloth and the Empire?

The final plan on the Bad Batch's list. The last resort. The worst case scenario. From the depths of the black smoke you could hear Tech shout: "You must sever the connection hinge - NOW!"

you read the title, pretty self explanatory. fandoms i've written for so far include: - marvel - star wars (the bad batch) - teen titans also by oneshots, i mean just short stories, sorry i don't write x readers.

It's been months since Kamino's destruction, and the Bad Batch have been avoiding the Empire ever since. Their family is together, no matter how shaky it may feel. That doesn't mean adventures are anywhere near an end. (Or, the second season time in a Hunter-Crosshair role-swap, where they stayed together after Kamino)

This Story Contains Spoilers For The Bad Batch Season 1! It's been six months since the destruction of Tipoca City and Hunter and the rest of the Bad Batch are still hiding from the Empire. Things are going simple for them until Cid sends them to Aldera, Alderaan to retrieve a statue for a mysterious client. Weary to go to a planet so populated by the Empire Hunter is reluctant to let Omega tag along. However, after she persists she's allowed to come. Now Hunter has to juggle his responsibility as Omega's gaurdian, keeping the rest of the Batch safe during a museum break in, and contemplating joining Rex's rebellion. What he doesn't see yet is that with this mission there is going to be a price to pay and it's not going to be pretty. While Hunter is busy with his new mission Crosshair is seeking revenge. After being rescued from the landing platform by the Empire Crosshair had to work to prove his loyalty. Now that he's proven himself he is eager to show Hunter the pain the he'd been dealing with since order 66. However his actions might have sinister consequences that won't bring him closer to the Bad Batch but push him away.

How did he end up here? A one-handed, decommissioned, ex-imperial clone. It wasn't exactly what he'd pictured for himself when he'd been training back on Kamino. Crosshair has been living safely on Pabu since the Tantiss attack and he should be happy to be free, but there is something missing, something he isn't willing to face. When Echo manages to convince him to join him on his trip to a repurposed medical frigate, Crosshair is forced to rethink his future and what he wants from it. Maybe it's time that he gives himself a second chance to be something more than a good soldier. Maybe, there is still hope for a future. n the aftermath of Tantiss's destruction, CX-5 and her brothers pick themselves up. Hemlock's last standing orders were to put down the clone rebellion, and that's all they have. With their hunt comes Clone Force 99 and other familiar but unremembered faces, and for the first time in her life, CX-5 finds herself questioning where she thought she belonged.

They were all too eager to invite her to the team but she was still trying to run, still trying to escape even though she knew it was hopeless. But then there was something else-- the longing for the family she'd lost but found and lost again-- something that she wished to ignore but she was tired and weak and it might have been the last hope she had.

After becoming the sergeant of a not-even-squad consisting solely of herself and Echo, Omega had genuinely lost hope of seeing her little brothers again. She didn't expect it to change. Until it did.

If you want to read a slow burn about Crosshair, this is for you. It is completely cannon compliant and fun to read if you have seen the first season. It fits into the season as if it was always a part of what was happening. What if Crosshair stays with the empire because he has more there that just being a good soldier to come back to? Written in novel format based on Season 1 of the Bad Batch, this is a platonic romance that dives into the darkness of what Kamino has done to the clones and what the future holds for them after Order 66 and the enactment of War-Mantle. As an author, I enjoy looking deeper at the issues of interpersonal drama woven together with politics.
