(This is a rewrite of The End of the War) The Galaxy is on the verge of war. Several thousand star systems have declared independence from the Republic, forming a Confederacy of Independent Systems. This movement has caused the already limited number of Jedi to be stretched thin. Having returned from collecting his Kyber Crystal, Youngling Izuku Midoriya continues his hobby of studying. But after coming across information he should not have seen, he takes an interest in his origin. An interest that will land him in trouble. Master Toshinori Yagi, having brought Izuku into the Jedi Order, has sworn to watch over him. But as Izuku takes an interest in where he came from, Toshinori cannot help but try and protect him. Half a galaxy away, the small clan of Mandalorians known as Clan Uraraka has deigned to leave Mandalore. With the rise of the Deathwatch, they settled on the distant planet Nevarro, hoping to make a new, better life for the young heiress to the clan, Ochako Uraraka. The Force has set Izuku and Ochako on a destined intersection. With the dawn of the Clone Wars, they will soon find themselves on a path of friendship and maybe even something more.

As rumors of a droid foundry on the planet Nevarro reach the ears of the Jedi, the new master and apprentice are sent to destroy it. On Nevarro, Mandalorians fight the droid forces and have requested aid from the Republic. But when the Jedi come, bonds are tested, bonds are forged, and some may even be destroyed.
