Having made no deals to secure his power, Alastor has spent his afterlife in Hell a fairly average Sinner with one particular unique ability: a voice that makes him all but irresistible to most demons. For decades, he's been bound to Rosie's service, using his silver tongue and natural charisma to help her negotiate her contracts. Of course, his talent is no match for someone like Vox. But their first meeting makes an impression nevertheless. Vox finds himself fixated on Alastor and compelled to possess him. So he does what any businessman would and makes a deal to buy Alastor's soul. A deal with Rosie, that is. After all, Alastor's soul is no longer his own property. Blindsided and bitter over the forced upheaval of his afterlife, Alastor plans to rebel in every way possible. His brattiness does nothing to deter Vox, who's determined to find the obedient pet hidden underneath. Both are thrown very much off-balance by an unexpected affection mixed into their antagonism. But affection doesn't equate to peace. Even if they do want to navigate the completely unfamiliar territory of a partnership, there's still the risk of driving each other crazy along the way.

What I think canon Alastor thinks of our ships, mine included! (This is a joke and shit post in response to someone who sent me hate over a ship for no reason.) Justo entonces apareció Vox, que mal día para coincidir. -Miren a quién tenemos aquí... Alastor. -¿Tu especialidad es aparecer en los peores momentos, verdad, querido? Vox lo miró, frunciendo ligeramente el ceño. -De todas maneras, yo ya me disponía a retirarme. Buenas noches, estimado. Cuando Alastor estaba a punto de irse, Vox lo interrumpió. -¿Por qué no tomas unos tragos conmigo? ¿O acaso la edad ya empieza a afectarte? -Mmm... ni que lo digas. Pero la cuenta va por tu parte. Pasaron unas horas bebiendo, hablando de ciertos temas triviales y lanzando indirectas filosas entre copa y copa. Finalmente, Alastor se levantó de su asiento. -Buenas noches, Vox. Salió del bar, pero Vox lo siguió rapidamentr hasta afuera. El olor a alcohol todavía flotaba en el aire. -Espera, Al. -¿Sucede algo? -¿Hasta cuándo vas a seguir negándolo? -¿A qué te refieres? -Lo sabes bien. Alastor suspiró suavemente. -Deberías olvidar todo lo que pasó aquel día, querido. Hay cosas que suceden por error... acciones involuntarias... hechos que es mejor dejar fuera de la memoria. Ahora, si me disculpas, me retiro. -¡Espera, ALASTOR! Pero de pronto Alastor desapareció entre sus sombras, dejando a Vox bajo la lluvia que había comenzado a caer. Una vez más... con aquel mismo vacío que había sentido aquel día.
