Everyone knows that the life of an idol in South Korea is an incredibly heavy burden. Between what fans see and what is truly happening inside an idol's mind, there is an enormous gap. Some even end up taking that final step... believing it is their only way out. It is within this atmosphere that an irreparable incident takes place. The morning after the horror, the entire Korean press runs the same headline: the rising K-pop star is no more. Jin-woo... a young man of 21 years old. Despite being the fans' favorite, he lived an extremely solitary life. Important : Stay Alive is an original story. All characters are fictional. And despite the weight of the theme it addresses, Stay Alive is a work full of hope.

"Stay Alive" has always been tøps motto. All they ever want from us is to just stay alive. Tyler and Josh don't expect anything else from us and for some of us the main reason we stay alive is them. Tyler and Josh, they're music and how it speaks to us and explains things that we feel but cannot say so ourselves. But what do we do when we don't have our main reason anymore. My name is Kendra and I'm an orphan. I was taken in by the Alpha of the Redwood pack. He treats me like I'm his own daughter. A while before I become sixteen, the age when you get your wolf, strange things start to happen with me and around me. It seems that I am something that hasn't been seen in 400 years. I don't know what I am. Nobody knows. The only thing we know about me comes from a very old book. All the book says is that I am one of the Wanderers. That is a werewolf with the ability to make one side win. I can let the Good win, or I can let the Bad win. I can do a lot of things more, but the Bad hunts me down because I can let them win. You might think that this is the ordinary story: there is someone special, every wolf fight because of that person and eventually the bad gets killed and the good have a happy life. But this is a different story. It includes wolves, blue tigers, vampires, fairies, angels and a lot of more creatures. You can imagine the feelings like you are me. We'll see what happens. I can only hope that everything will get right, but I have a feeling that tells me the exact opposite Will you join me on my story? I hope it. I was 17 when the apocalypse happened, it's hard to believe that it was 9 months ago. I used to have family alive but after 3 months, my sister lost it and my mother decided without her medications it would be best if we gave her peace. So from then on it was my mother and I. Until she got herself hurt got an infection and eventually turned into a monster. I now have 3 travel companions, Lilyana--Lily for short: the sweet and to a fault optimistic one, Claire: The jokester who always laughs at the worst if things, Ben: the tough-ass guy who rarely shows emotion except to tease but I'm 98.9% sure has a heart of gold. Then there is me, Emily, the girl who keeps everyone together, I listen and lead because we can and we will survive this post-apocalyptic hellhole of a world.

Maybe we are all to blame. Making decisions carelessly and selfishly, we've come to this point. We as humans are greedy beings. We run on greed and wealth. We weren't suppose to live this long. In some situations i can't find any reasons for staying alive. thats why i startet this book. it is for everyone, who needs some reasons... i hope it will also help me, to see all the beautiful things we can only see, when we are still alive.
