This is a poem that I wrote about trauma and how I have dealt with it.

Loving myself

This story is about my mental health and what I've been through growing up as a child. From dealing with domestic violence and abuse. This might be too much too handle so be careful when reading this story.

Iris lives in colors, silence, and unfinished sketches. As an art student, she notices the tiny moments everyone else misses - the tilt of the head, the pause before a laugh, the spaces between words. Life is fluid, chaotic, and beautiful...
