There are some memories that you'd rather forget and some that have sadly faded away. But there are also memories that make you happy and you'll never forget them. The year is 1966. Roxanne Schaeffer has a strange condition: she has quills growing around her hairline, which make her look like she's part porcupine. The doctors claim that it's a bizarre medical condition, but it got so bad that Roxanne put another girl in the hospital. On her sixteenth birthday, her father took her and her younger brother to Cairnholm for a short vacation. This sparks a chain of events that lead the siblings to a paradise that couldn't possibly be the same island they arrived on. But it is...and some of the inhabitants are quite peculiar. Set in July 4, 1781. Peculiar Children are trying to escape from the Hollows, Wights and the Monsters. They find the statue of Liberty (the loop to Hogwarts) and go inside the statue and arrive at Hogwarts. It's the only safe place to hide from the Monsters. But is it safe enough?

After the perilous Battle of Peculiardom was won and the Wights were finally defeated, many peculiars thought it right of them to assume that the worst was behind them, Wights and Hollowgast were gone forevermore. Just as Miss Peregrine and the Peculiars finally get a glimpse of normal life, something goes badly wrong and everything that the peculiars have dreamed of since life on Cairnholm is put to a standstill. New faces meet old faces in an attempt to save something they thought they already had. ***Takes place after Library of Souls***
