The mistress kindly tells her that she has no choice but to come with her to escape the dangerous situation she never knew she was in. Dangerous people called 'Peculiar Hunters' have been attacking loops and capturing the young Peculiars that live there. Many Peculiars have traveled from their European homes to America in an effort to find and protect the few Peculiars that are left. A select number of ymbrynes have joined the effort to start and maintain loops to keep the remaining children safe. Now, Grace must pack her things and leave the life that no longer feels quite like home to discover a new world with hidden secrets and mysterious stories. This tale is the story of, not one, but many Peculiars who have made themselves a family in a time of great tragedy. With traumas to overcome and danger to escape, they must discover the mystery of their pasts before their one true home is gone forever. A tale inspired by the works of Ransom Riggs with the entirety of the cast being made up of entirely original characters.
