Steve loves his job, more than anything really. Seeing smiles upon the kids faces as they learn and the proud look of achievement when the get a good work stamp and their paper. He loves it. The only thing he isn't the biggest fan of is the lonliness, as many of the other teachers aren't bothered to talk to him. But that changes when the new music teacher Mr Munson starts and shows him how to not be so lonely.

"You find me cute Harrington?" Eddie questioned a deep blush spreading on his face. "Yea, your quite adorable Munson." Steve replied, a soft pink dusted his cheeks. He grabbed the shorter boys hand and placed a sweet kiss on it getting up from where both of them were sitting and left after giving him a wink.

After everything that happened in Stranger Things, Eddie Munson was supposed to be dead. He's not. Instead, he's stuck recovering in a town that still whispers his name-and somehow, living under the same roof as Steve Harrington. It's only temporary. That's what they both say. But temporary turns into late nights, shared space, and moments that last a little too long. Hands brushing. Eyes lingering. Words left unsaid. Steve tells himself he's just helping. Eddie tells himself it doesn't mean anything. Neither of them believes it. Because the closer they get, the harder it is to ignore the truth- Some things don't stay "almost" forever.
