As Eddie goes into his second round of Senior Year, he finds himself caught into a situation he would have never imagined himself in...friends with Steve Harrington. Somewhere in the multiverse, season 4 was Steddie confirmed...so I wrote a story about it. It follows some of the plot from the season, but with newer content based off the changes that I've made. With that being said there will be some spoilers from the original plot. -THIS BOOK IS GOING UNDER EDITS TO BE BETTER! It's still readable I'll never post an unreadable chapter, or story, but if it's different than the last time you read it, that is why. If chapters are missing, I merged a few because it should have been one chapter in the first place. If you read it without paying attention to chapter titles, it'll be in order! Steve loves his job, more than anything really. Seeing smiles upon the kids faces as they learn and the proud look of achievement when the get a good work stamp and their paper. He loves it. The only thing he isn't the biggest fan of is the lonliness, as many of the other teachers aren't bothered to talk to him. But that changes when the new music teacher Mr Munson starts and shows him how to not be so lonely.

This whole time, Steve just thought they were fooling around- something that wouldn't move past the summer; but here they are, sat in the dim light of Eddie's room, half-naked, with questions lingering in the air that Steve didn't think he could answer. "Well?" Eddie pressed. Warning: language, sexual content, alcohol, and drugs (This story has a lot of explicit scenes do to it being a story about friends with benefits)

This is in modern times, and after Vecna. Eddie didn't die and they sucessfully killed vecnussy :P. Steve and Eddie have been living together in the older male's trailer for a few months since Steve got kicked out by his father for coming out as gay. They're definitely close, but sometimes too close. They aren't exactly romantic, but Steve wants it to be that way. So does Eddie, but he rarely talks to it unless he's talking to Nancy, one of his best friends after the Vecna thing.

A Steddie fic that occurs before all of the upside down stuff. And a little bit during it. And a lot after.

It has been over a month since the final battle and Vecna's death, most have already started to move on. But not Steve Harrington. Somehow, he is still stuck on one death in particular: the death of Eddie Munson. Though they hadn't known each other for long, Steve could feel himself mourning the loss of Eddie and having dreams of his return. Even though with every day, Eddie's return became less and less likely, Steve still clung on to a small tread of hope. Stupid Hope.

Eddie made it out of the upside down after being attacke by demobats. He recovers from his injurys, well most of them at least.. All of his charges have been removed and he was found not guilty. He is a freeman now. Some people still thought he did the murders, but the people who truly knew him knew that he was entirely innocent. (This is a Steddie. Just so you know.)

From strangers to friends to something more, Jonathan and Billy start off the book in season 2 & 3. In the first half of season 4, Nancy & Robin become closer through caring for Max. After the other 4 see how close Steve & Eddie are getting, they make a plan to get them together. Eddie and Billy will not die in this book. Spoilers for most of the show. I'm sorry about the cover, I couldn't find any fanart. There probably will not be regular updates. In this au Billy is nice, but he has anger issues, which causes arguments between him and Neil.
