Contains spoilers for Stranger Things 4, vol 2. Eddie Munson dies and he tells Dustin to give Steve his bandana. Robin explains to Steve what it means. Steve realizes he had feelings for Eddie all along but it's too late. Hi so this really sad idea came to me and I ran with it. I'm still in denial over Eddies death so this is how I'm coping. "Eddie has made three rules to protect himself. 1. Keep your distance. Can't hurt anyone if you're not close. 2. Be conscious always. Can't hurt yourself as badly if you're always careful. Eddie left Hawkins in 1986 with no reason to ever return. But now, a few years have passed and life has changed. Eddie finally returns home and has to deal with everything he left behind, including Steve Harrington. This story starts in May 1991.
