The year is 1890 at the cusp of the grand Steel Ball Run horse race across the country. The grand prize weighing a ton in gold people from far and wide compete from the west coast to the east. Among the thousands attending is a 19-year-old girl from the Isle of Mann who intends win but will end up with plenty of other motivations. Frances Fox; the medic, the equestrian, paired with an unexpected teammate, she travels the course for the gold.

After an unfortunate accident in the snow, Y/N and Mountain Tim retire to a cabin for the night. However, Y/N finds herself in a certain... predicament, as Mountain Tim attempts to keep her warm.
