The fifth installment of the transformer's mythos. It's been one year after the defeat of Unicron, and the newly Autobot-controlled Cybertron is returning to normalcy. With the majority of the Decepticons banished to another planet Rodimus is having to deal with the politics of Cybertron. With a few Decepticons hiding out on Earth Rodimus creates a team of Autobots to weed them out, completely unaware that one Decepticon in particular has big plans for the planet. Rodimus's challenges grows with human politician's doubt in the Autobots, the return of an insane Galvatron, a toxic alliance between the Decepticons and Quintessons, Daniel being trapped on a remote planet with a legendary Decepticon, and the Predacons revealing themselves to the world. All of this is poultry compared to the real threat. The release of Unicron's energy acted as a beacon to let all parties know Cybertron's location. One of those parties happens to be a long thought deceased part of Cybertron's past. His name is Thundertron. He leads a group of mutated Cybertronians named the Star Seekers on a ship nearly the size of Earth. With all the odds stacked in his favor Thundertron plans to destroy the planet for abandoning him and his crew to die. Can Rodimus confront his responsibilities and accept his role as the Prime? Or will the vengeful sailor finally have his revenge and decimate the very world that scorned him? It all comes down to an epic four way battle for control with a shocking conclusion that will decide the fate of the rest of this phase.

Taken place after episode Decepticon Island, both Springload and Kickback sneak in to the ship and free Steeljaw (it because Steeljaw promise Springload about Doradus). Steeljaw freed all of the Decepticons except for Glowstrike, Scorponok, and Saberhorn since they might get revenge for his betrayal. Steeljaw and his Decepticons escaped and took control of the Alchemor to return to Earth, with some Decepticons not pleased about this Thunderhoof rebuild the space bridge but with some upgrades from Simacore, it now capable of going to alternate Earths The Bee Team arrive to stop them but Grimlock who attack first, ask questions later damage the ground bridge which sent the Decepticons and Grimlock to an alternative Earth. Grimlock woke up into the an Earth where he look different and tried to stay in character. He have stay in hiding until he befriend a human boy (who actually half human) to help him find out where he is, the boy is Steve Universe. It up to Grimlock with help of his friends, The Crystal Gems to fight Steeljaw and his army before he might claim this as the Decepticons new home.

Cinos and his Ravagers along with Grimlock faced Eggman and his enforcers once again made a prototype gun which can immobile members of the E-Cryptids series and it powered by three Chaos Emerald, try to stabilize them but Cinos have damage it. The damage gun then accidentally open a portal with synthesize Chaos Control-like attack then suck everyone into a very new world. Cinos search for his friends which cause lots of collateral damage, he then encountered three humanoid robot which see him as an enemy for what he did. Eggman's forces arrived following their program to capture Cinos and stop anyone who get in their way, Cinos and the robots fight and see that their not bad. Meanwhile, Eggman is in hiding and enjoy the universe filled with technology and was discovered by a robot who see him to be useful, creating the many fallen Mavericks and build the body of Sigma, so he'll return to a power vessel.
